How the limits, the bill and VAT work, in plain words. The billing terms have every rule in one place.
Yes. Until 30 November 2026, 23:59 Athens time, every Essential step costs 1% of its usual price, and never less than €1 a month: up to 99% off. That is €1 a month instead of €29 for up to 2,500 contacts, up to €4.31 instead of €431 for up to 100,000. Free and Custom stay as they are.
The discount applies by itself at checkout, with no code. Every Essential bill dated before the end is at the Black Friday price: your first month, each monthly bill, and a move to a bigger step. 24% VAT is added to the price after the discount.
From your first bill after the end, you pay the full price of your step. You can keep it, choose a smaller step or go back to Free at any time.
Each email address you can send to counts once, however many audiences it is in. Addresses that have unsubscribed or bounced for good do not count, so you never pay for people you cannot email.
Each email we send to one contact counts as one, including one that bounces. A campaign to 2,500 contacts uses 2,500 emails. Test emails do not count, and neither do the emails we send you about your own account.
On Free you can send 6,000 emails a month. On Essential you can send 12 times the contacts of your step: 30,000 emails a month at 2,500 contacts, up to 1,200,000 at 100,000.
Your emails start again each month on your billing date. On Free, they start again each month on the day you signed up. Unused emails do not carry over.
A campaign that would take you past your emails for the month does not start. You see how many emails you have left, and you choose what to do: move up, send to fewer people, or wait for your new month. A scheduled campaign that cannot start is held, and we email you once to say why. It waits for you to send or reschedule it, and never goes out by itself. A campaign that has started always finishes.
On Free, sending pauses once you have more than 2,000 contacts, or once you have used your 6,000 emails for the month. We never send a campaign to only part of your audience. Your contacts stay safe, and test emails still go. Sending starts again as soon as you move to Essential or delete contacts you no longer need, or, for the email limit, when your new month begins.
On Essential, when your list grows past your step, you keep sending, and your next bill moves to the step that fits your list at its largest this month. If you use up your emails for the month, you can move up a step at once. Past 100,000 contacts, you keep sending on Essential 100,000 and we talk to you about Custom.
Only upward. When your list has grown past your step during the month, your next bill moves to the step that fits your list at its largest, even if it has shrunk again since. When your list shrinks, your bill stays where it is until you choose a smaller step, and your billing page tells you when a smaller one fits.
Yes, at any time, from Billing in your Overvio dashboard. Moving up applies at once: on Essential you pay the full difference between the two steps' monthly prices for the month you are in, whatever day you move up, and your billing date stays the same. The bigger step is yours as soon as that payment goes through. Moving down, or back to Free, applies from your next bill. There is no contract and no fee to leave.
No. Our prices are before VAT, as is usual for business software. 24% VAT is added to every invoice. You see the full amount before you pay.
